Molecular Biosciences Programs - Orientation 2017

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Welcome to the Molecular Biosciences Programs Orientation Space!  Congratulations on being admitted to our PhD Program or MMG/CDB MS Programs.  We look forward to seeing you in the Fall.

This year's Molecular Biosciences Orientation Program will be held from August 30 - September 1. Orientation packets will be available for pick-up in our office (Nelson Lab, A202) by August 25.

International Students (Rutgers GSNB)

International students should plan on arriving sometime during the week of August 21. You should have received a packet of information together with your I-20 from admissions. This will include details of the Center for Global Service's orientation program. If you have not received a copy of their schedule for Orientation activities, please be sure to do so while at the Center for International Student Services Office located at 180 College Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ, phone# (848) 932-7015. These orientations are being held throughout the week of August 21. It is very important that you attend one of these orientation sessions.

When you arrive, your first stop should be to check in with the International Student Services Office and to register for one of their employment workshops. The International Student Services office will check your immigration paperwork and provide you with payroll data forms (for those of you being funded through Rutgers-GSNB). These should then be brought to our office for processing. We cannot process your payroll paperwork without the forms you obtain at the employee workshop offered by the Center for International Faculty & Student Services.

International Students (Rutgers GSBS)

Please check in at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences Office at RWJMS when you arrive. The GSBS is located in the RWJMS Towers building in Room 102. Call 732-235-2839, for further information.

US Residents (Rutgers GSNB only)

The payroll system is now completely online. We will notify you when it's time for you to go online and complete certain payroll forms. This will occur after you arrive to campus.
