Attention Graduate Students:

Students interested in applying to become a tutor should contact the Peer Tutoring Program Director. Tutoring is a rewarding teaching experience. Tutors work directly with other students to help them advance their studies. If requested, the director will provide acknowledgement of tutor's participation in this important teaching program. Tutors are paid through the Graduate Program.

Our tutors are volunteer senior graduate students who have completed the courses. Once an assignment is made by the program director, the students and tutors work together to set up times and places. Tutoring is typically about an hour a week, and usually in small groups assigned by the program director. Tutors control their availability and schedule.

Tutors are needed in all courses, and get paid $15 per hour for one student and $20 per hour for a small group, typically 2 or 3 students.

This is a great chance to review material you would like to remember, get teaching skills, help other students and make some extra money.
