Students spend 8 to 10 weeks in each rotation. Master's students are allowed to complete up to 3 rotations and earn a maximum of 6 rotation credits, which can be applied toward a degree with thesis.
Students are assigned projects that allow them to appreciate the nature of and approach to science, as well as the atmosphere and work ethic of the laboratory, while gaining experience with relevant experimental tools. The PI of the laboratory can assess the student's compatibility with the research group.
